Hekate on the Parthenon of Acropolis

Helios with chariot - Dionysos - Persephone & Demeter - Hekate The Parthenon sculptures consist of the decorative parts of the temple in the 5th century BC on the Acropolis in Athens. Three main groups of sculpture have survived: the pediment sculptures, the metopes and the frieze. Of the surviving Parthenon sculptures the British Museum has approximately half while the rest are either in Athens or in other institutions.
